What is the difference between the CPA and AICPA Intermediate Program?

CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is the equivalent of CA (Chartered Accountant), in the United States, and it is recommended for professionals in accounting. In addition to preparing you for Big 4 and Public Accounting roles such as audit, tax, financial advisory, and consulting, it paves the way for CPA career roles in the CFO team, such as controllership, accounting, and F&A.

CA Inter is comparable to AICPA Inter because it is a subset of CPA. As a way to get started on your CPA Career, university students are advised to do this, as it paves the way for career positions as a CPA in the Big 4 and public accounting firms.
